Fact: Silence is golden.

I never thought I’d be that person. Apparently, I am. I shush people. Kids, adults, babies, dogs, the t.v., someone whistling a tune…You name it, I shush it. I can’t help it, though. It’s all teaching’s fault. It’s a common side effect for those who’ve been in the teaching profession for quite some time, and especially for some, like me, who’ve retired.
